Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith currently serves as the Director of Growth at Solo since September 2025 and is the Founder of Lowcountry Ledger, a financial literacy-focused resource and newsletter, established in January 2025. Previously, Brandon held roles at Clarkston Consulting as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant from January 2022 to September 2025, and at LendingTree from September 2018 to January 2022, where responsibilities included product marketing for student loans, deposit accounts, and automotive finance. Earlier experience includes roles as a Marketing Strategist and Programmatic Planning & Optimization Analyst at Omnicom Media Group from July 2016 to September 2018, as well as a Financial Associate Intern at Wells Fargo in 2015. Brandon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Environmental Sciences from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UNSW.
