Mike Poirier

Mike Poirier has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike started their career at Tresco Communications Inc. in 1984, working in engineering services. In 1989, they became the President of Syncom Image Display Systems, where they grew the business into a successful multimillion-dollar company. From 1999 to 2003, they worked at Miranda Technologies as the Director AV Division, overseeing sales expansion and product development. Mike then joined Algolith as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, responsible for expanding sales in IP, Home Theatre, and Post Production markets. In 2005, they joined Solotech Inc. as a Corporate AV Sales representative. Mike later worked at Teranex Systems as the Vice President & General Manager from 2006 to 2012, where they managed all aspects of the business and implemented CRM & ERP systems. Mike then moved on to Preco, where they served as the East Coast Sales Manager, driving sales and diversifying revenue from various clients. Mike later joined Fast Forward Video as the Director of Sales, where they developed brand strategy and coordinated all sales and marketing efforts. Finally, they returned to Solotech Inc. in 2016 as the Director of Business Development and subsequently served as the General Manager. Overall, Mike Poirier has a strong background in business development, sales, and management across multiple industries.

Mike Poirier pursued their education from 1981 to 1984 at Dawson College, where they obtained an engineering degree in telecommunications. Their field of study was Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Additionally, in April 2006, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Quebec Technologist from the Ordre des Technologues Professionels du Québec.
