Simon Thomsen

Simon Thomsen has extensive experience in audio and sound engineering, currently serving as an RF Technician and Comms Technician at Solotech Inc. since June 2022. Additionally, Simon holds multiple positions in the broadcasting industry, including A1/A2 roles at Dome Productions and Audio Technician at NBC Sports Group since 2013, providing technical support for major sports events such as the Super Bowl and Olympics. As a Sound Designer for Back Pocket Resources, Simon specializes in podcast theme music composition, sound editing, and mixing. Previous roles include Audio Visual Technician at PSAV and serving as a Bandsman in the Air National Guard. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music & Sound Recording Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Certificate in Music Composition and Production for Film and TV from Berklee College of Music.
