Tim Williamson is an experienced technician with a strong background in the live event and broadcasting industries. Currently serving as an R2 Software Technician at Solotech Inc. since April 2019, Tim is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment for rigging and staging, managing inventory in the software system, and ensuring timely returns of cross-rented items. Prior roles include Shop Technician at Solotech, where Tim independently handled staging orders, operated forklifts, and assisted clients, as well as an Internship at Dome Productions focused on repair work and gear upgrades. In addition, Tim has experience as a Broadcast Lab Assistant at Niagara College, a seasonal Item Picker at Boathouse Warehouse, and a Theater Technician for the District School Board of Niagara. Tim holds an Advanced Diploma in Broadcasting Radio, TV & Film from Niagara College.
