Roberto Díaz

Roberto Díaz has an extensive work experience in project management in the energy sector. Roberto currently holds the position of SOLTEC projects manager at Soltec, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a METKA EGN projects manager at METKA EGN in 2021, where they successfully completed the construction of two PV plants in Manzanares, Ciudad Real, totaling 90 MWp. During their time at METKA EGN, they also achieved the approval of permits, licenses, and authorizations for the projects.

Before joining METKA EGN, Roberto worked as an ELECNOR projects manager at Elecnor from 2019 to 2020. Roberto also served as a PIC GROUP INC site manager at PIC Group, Inc. from 2016 to 2018, where they managed the construction of a Concentrated Solar Power Plant (CSP) and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) project.

Prior to that, Roberto held the role of FOSTER WHEELER & DURO FELGUERA JV. Author's Supervision manager at DF - Duro Felguera from 2013 to 2016, overseeing the construction of a Delayed Coker Unit in Belarus. Roberto also worked as a construction manager at Tecnicas Reunidas from 2011 to 2013, managing projects at the Volgograd refinery in Russia.

Earlier in their career, Roberto gained experience as a general manager and project manager at various companies including INABENSA (ABENGOA GROUP), Isolux, CYMI (ACS GROUP), and ABB ALSTOM POWER. Roberto'sresponsibilities in these roles included managing high voltage substations and overhead lines projects, as well as wind farm projects.
