Joel Hill

Joel Hill has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joel began their career in 2008 as a Coordinator at SCI FI Science Camps and held the position until 2011. In 2011, they worked as an SRED Analyst at SRED Automation for the entire year. From 2012 to 2016, they were self-employed as an Independent Game Developer. Joel then joined Hill Studios as an App Developer from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they also worked as a Computer Camp Instructor at SCI-FI Science Camps. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Software Developer at Delco Automation Inc. Joel then joined Canadian Light Source Inc. / Centre canadien de rayonnement synchrotron as a Software Analyst in 2019 and remained there until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Full-stack Developer at SolusGuard starting in 2021.

Joel Hill earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering from the same university, completing it between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified Professional: Programming in C# from Microsoft in April 2018.
