Serese Selanders has built an extensive and diverse work experience over the years. Serese is the Founder and CEO of SolusGuard, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to this, they also founded and served as CEO of ORA since 2013.
Serese has also served as a Board Member at the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council starting from December 2017.
In terms of their banking experience, Serese held various Vice President roles at Affinity Credit Union. These include being the Vice President of Member Experience from January 2015 to December 2016, Vice President of Sales & Development from March 2012 to January 2015, and Vice President of Retail Branch Services from 2008 to February 2012. During their time at Affinity Credit Union, they were responsible for developing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and profitability, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the credit union's prominence in the industry.
Serese was also an i3 Innovator at Filene Research Institute from January 2014 to December 2015, contributing to innovative research initiatives.
Furthermore, Serese participated in the health sector as the Chair of the Client and Family Centered Steering Committee at Saskatoon Health Region from July 2010 to June 2015. Serese played a vital role in providing advisory services and participating in national initiatives to improve patient care.
Prior to their time with Affinity Credit Union, Serese worked at FirstSask Credit Union as the Vice President of Financial Services, where they directed the daily operations of multiple branches and led the transition to a sales culture. Serese also worked at Credential Financial as an Associate Manager and Financial Services Representative, where they excelled in selling financial products and providing comprehensive financial planning advice.
Serese began their career as a Representative at London Life Insurance in 1995.

Serese Selanders completed their B.A. in International Studies from the University of Saskatchewan between 1990 and 1995. In 2007, they attended the Executive Program at Queen's University. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued their MBA at the Edwards School of Business. In addition to their formal education, Serese also obtained certifications such as FMA (Financial Management Advisor) from the Canadian Securities Institute, CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) from Cdn Life Underwriters of Canada, and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) from the Financial Planners Standards Council.
