Allison Anson

Allison Anson has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they began working at Dover Saddlery as a Keyholder and Product Advisor. In 2019, they began working at Texas State University as a Biometrics Lab Technician, where they collected eye movement data of participants using a Virtual Reality (VR) headset and eye tracking software. In 2021, they became a Machine Learning Undergraduate Researcher at Texas State University, continuing the project from the REU Program Summer 2021 and further improving their solution that betters the accuracy of fall detection in a smart watch app by incorporating real-world data into training and adjusting the structure of the Deep Learning model. In 2022, they began working at Soluta, Inc. as a Junior Software Engineer.

Allison Anson has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Texas State University, which they completed in 2021. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Austin Community College, which they completed in 2018.
