Gene Choi

Gene Choi has worked as a Software Engineer at SOLUTE since 2019. During their time there, they have helped to lead a small group of engineers by participating in meetings with stakeholders, creating tasks based on meetings, and distributing tasks as needed. Gene has also developed several clients, web service and tester applications using DevSecOps methodology, as well as developed unit, integration and E2E tests. Additionally, since 2019, Gene has been a Reader for CS 111: Introduction to Operating Systems at the University of California, Santa Cruz - Jack Baskin School of Engineering. Gene's duties include grading programming assignments, resolving any issues students have with the given grades, and assisting students that need help.

Gene Choi attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Biology. In 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA, and in 2022, they obtained a Trained Mentor certification from Mentor Collective.
