Kyle Thomas

Kyle Thomas has a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2017, they were an Instructor at Fort Pierce Taekwondo Center, teaching students who are interested in martial arts self defense and discipline. Kyle also worked as a Warehouse Technician for Valiant Power Group, Inc. from 2017 to 2018, and as a Resident Assistant for Rise Real Estate Inc. from 2017 to 2018. During this same time period, they were also a Freelance Programmer for Nonce+1 Labs from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, and currently works as a Software Engineer at SOLUTE, where they develop and tests backend code in an agile development environment, and assists in the troubleshooting and fixing of pipelines with DevOps Engineers. Kyle also analyzes and resolves security vulnerabilities using tools such as OWASP ZAP, Coverity, JFrog Xray, and more.

Kyle Thomas has a comprehensive educational background. Kyle began their education in 2013, when they obtained their High School Diploma from Fort Pierce Central High School. Kyle then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Florida Polytechnic University, which they completed in 2020. Currently, Kyle is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, Kyle has obtained various certifications, such as the QPR Gatekeeper Certification from the NBCC Foundation in 2018, the CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2022, and the ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association in 2015.
