Stephen Eshelman has worked in the software engineering field since 1997. Stephen began their career at Systems and Computer Technology Corp. as a Senior Advisory Software Engineer, where they lead and mentored a small team of developers in updating and enhancing a large Enterprise Resource Planning system. Stephen then moved to MBNA in 1999, where they developed an automated banking system in C++ using object-oriented analysis and design and patterns. In 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at XO Energy, where they maintained software that queried power market data and developed mobile assets that kept the team apprised of progress. Later that year, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sapphire Technologies, where they helped move Java assets to C#. In 2014, they began working at TA Instruments as a Senior Software Developer in R&D, where they were responsible for client side communications for the next generation thermal instruments. In 2021, they started working at Cognizant Softvision as a Senior Software Engineer Enterprise.NET and Mobile Community. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at SOLUTE.

Stephen Eshelman obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from Goldey-Beacom College in 2001.
