Mathilde Wekre

Mathilde Wekre has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mathilde currently works as a Data Scientist at Solution Seeker since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD Student at NTNU from 2018 to 2022, where they collaborated with Lundin AS in a project focused on production optimization in the oil industry. Mathilde also served as a Head Student Assistant during the same period. Before their PhD, Mathilde held the position of Student Assistant and Head Student Assistant at NTNU from 2017 to 2018. Mathilde gained industry experience as a Summer Engineering Intern at Cybernetica AS in 2017, where they modeled and simulated a heat exchanger using MATLAB. Additionally, Mathilde worked as a C++ Developer during a summer internship at Thales Norway AS in 2016. Mathilde also held the positions of Student Assistant and Head Student Assistant at NTNU from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Assistant at NTNU in 2015 and as a Teaching Aid Assistant at Lumenia AS in 2015. Mathilde's earlier work experience includes a role as a Nursing Assistant at Nesodden bo- og service senter from 2012 to 2013 and as an Assistant Instructor at Sjøstjerna Swimming and Lifesaving Club from 2008 to 2011.

Mathilde Wekre pursued their education in a disciplined and focused manner. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Caroline Chisholm School, where they obtained their high school degree with a specialization in Science and Mathematics. Mathilde then went on to attend the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2013 to 2018, where they earned their Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. Following their master's program, Mathilde Wekre continued their studies at the same university, focusing on Kybernetikk, and is currently working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they have also obtained a certification named LAOS from NTNU. Further details regarding the obtained month and year of this certification are not provided.
