Wouter Mandemaker

Wouter Mandemaker has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Wouter worked for S4D as a Senior Software Developer from July 2018 to December 2020, and later as a Software Architect from January 2021 to present. Before that, they were employed at NICE Systems as a Software Developer from December 2011 to June 2018.

Prior to their time at NICE Systems, Wouter worked at Chess embedded Technology BV as a Software Engineer. Here, they were involved in designing, developing, and testing software solutions for mobile Point of Sale terminals. Wouter also contributed to the development of a web application for monitoring and managing active payment terminals in the field.

Their career began at Chess, where they worked as a Trainee while writing their Master's thesis on "Deploying a real Wireless Sensor Network". During this time, they implemented a gossip-based data dissemination algorithm on wireless sensor nodes and tested it through simulations.

Wouter Mandemaker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2001 and 2006.
