Subra Viswanathan

Subra Viswanathan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Subra is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Solutions by Text since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ACI Worldwide, where they served as the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Technology, Billers from January 2019 to August 2022.

From 2014 to 2019, Subra held the position of Senior Director of Platform Technology and Data Services at Cox Media Group (CMG). During their tenure, they led multiple teams and collaborated with various cross-functional technology teams, successfully delivering strategic initiatives. Their accomplishments include delivering a transformative content management system (CMS) platform, enhancing data services on BigData and SQL platforms, introducing machine learning capabilities, and overseeing innovation initiatives such as cloud environment cost management and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Center of Excellence. Subra also modernized the implementation of Order-to-Cash (O2C) systems, built and supported data pipelines for pricing and predictive viewership analytics using AI/ML models, and played a crucial role in architectural decision-making at CMG.

Before their role at CMG, Subra was a Senior Manager of Applications Development at ACI Worldwide from May 2013 to September 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Manager of Professional Services at ACI Worldwide from March 2006 to May 2013. In these roles, they oversaw the entire implementation life cycle for delivering projects, provided pre-sales support, managed program tracks, and built project teams for maximum performance.

Earlier in their career, Subra held positions as the Vice President (VP) of Engineering at Motorola Solutions (formerly AirDefense Inc.), Director of Product Development at S1 Corporation, Manager at Accenture, and Software Architect at Unisys.

At Unisys, Subra served as the Lead Architect for the design and development of a PowerBuilder Application Framework and was involved in the design, development, testing, and installation of the Check Processing System for the Federal Reserve Bank and other international banks.

Subra Viswanathan completed a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1985 to 1987. Subra then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bombay, completing it from 1981 to 1985. Later on, they obtained an MBA in Finance, General from the Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, attending from 2007 to 2008.
