Christopher Tonn

Christopher Tonn has extensive experience in operations and supervision within the energy and production industries. Currently serving as a Supervisor in Production at Solvay since March 2016, Christopher previously worked as a BOF Supervisor at ArcelorMittal and held operational supervisory roles at NRG Energy's Powerton Station, where responsibilities included managing a team of operators and overseeing logistics and support for a large coal-fired power plant. Christopher's career includes operational roles at Midwest Generation with experience in various systems including air pollution control and water treatment, as well as earlier positions in bakery management and inventory control at Chicago Baking Company. Christopher is also a decorated combat veteran from the US Army, providing supervision and training to soldiers while ensuring equipment maintenance. Educational qualifications include a college preparatory background from St. Rita High School and attendance at Moraine Valley Community College.
