Ellen Ye

Ellen Ye is an experienced professional in the field of sales and commercial management, currently serving as the Director of Solvay Ventures Asia since May 2012, focusing on engaging start-up companies in advanced materials and formulations. Previously, Ellen held the position of Commercial Director for the Marketing & Commercial Excellence team at Solvay Corporation, supporting all Global Business Units in the Asia Pacific region. Prior experience includes roles as Sales Director for Asia Pacific at DD Williamson and Sales Manager for both DD Williamson and AkzoNobel, specializing in the food and personal care industries, respectively. Ellen began career as an Account Manager at Dow Corning, managing sales of silicone products. Ellen earned an MBA from École des Ponts Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sun Yat-sen University.
