Jayesh Chavan

Jayesh Chavan has over 17 years of experience in procurement and project management, primarily in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors. At Solvay from January 2010 to July 2023, Jayesh excelled as Head of Global Capex Procurement, overseeing significant investments in capacity expansion and sustainability initiatives. Prior roles at Solvay included Project Procurement Leader for large Capex projects across Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, and Asia CAPEX Lead Buyer. Earlier experience includes serving as Procurement Manager at Nicholas Piramal India Ltd and Project Executive at Lupin Ltd, focusing on project procurement in the pharmaceutical industry. Jayesh holds an MBA in Operations from the Institute of Technology and Management and a BE in Chemical from the University of Mumbai.
