Joachim Lim

Joachim Lim has extensive work experience in the purchasing and logistics domain. Joachim started their career as a Business Development Manager at NYK Logistics Asia Pte Ltd in 1992 and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they joined RHODIA SPECIALTY CHEMICALS ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD as the APAC Purchasing Manager, a role which they held until 2010. From 2010 onwards, they worked at Solvay as the Head of APAC Purchasing (Logistics Domain). In this position, they were responsible for formulating and implementing purchasing strategies, managing suppliers, ensuring compliance and sustainability, and leading a team of logistics buyers. Joachim also served as the Country Purchasing Manager for Singapore and was a key member in the APAC Purchasing Management team. Additionally, they acted as the Single Point of Contact representing Purchasing function in APAC to several Global Business Units.

Joachim Lim holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Bradford.
