Nan Chen is an accomplished research scientist with extensive experience in polymer engineering and development. Currently serving at Syensqo since January 2024, Nan has also been with Solvay since May 2015, contributing expertise in the creation of thermoplastic solutions for the automotive industry. Prior experience includes an R&D Engineer role at ABC Group from April 2012 to March 2015 and a research assistant position at the Microcellular Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory from 2005 to 2011, where Nan focused on crosslinked foaming technology and rheological properties of polymer/gas solutions. Nan Chen holds a PhD in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
