Ryan O'Connor

Ryan O'Connor is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the chemical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Solvay since May 2022, Ryan previously held multiple roles at DuPont from July 2011 to May 2022, including Operations Leader for a $200 million Kapton films expansion project and Area Manager for the Kapton Chemical and Solvent Recovery units. Other notable positions at DuPont included Lead Project Engineer and Project Construction Engineer for significant projects, as well as Construction Engineer for various initiatives. Earlier in Ryan's career, experience was gained as a Staff Civil Engineer at Golder Associates from June 2008 to June 2011. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware between 2004 and 2008.
