Sebastien Meric

Sebastien MERIC has extensive work experience in various executive roles within the chemical industry. Sebastien began their career at Ciments Francais GmbH as an Assistant Development Manager. Sebastien then moved on to Rhone-Poulenc GmbH as the Germany Sales Manager. At Rhodia Organics, they served as the Asia Sales & Marketing Manager before becoming the Business Unit Director of Fluorinated Consumers Products at Rhodia Organics Ltd. Sebastien later became the Business Unit Director of Flavors and Fragrances at Rhodia Organics. Sebastien then joined Rhodia Novecare Inc. as the VP of the Home & Personal Care Market. Sebastien continued their career at Solvay, starting as the Global Purchasing & Productivity Director of Polyamide & Intermediates and eventually becoming an Executive VP in various positions including Operational Excellence, Strategic Marketing, Commercial Director, and Rare Earth Business Line Director within the Special Chem division. Sebastien has worked in locations such as Berlin, Paris, Singapore, Bristol, Lyon, Hannover, Seoul, and New Jersey.

Sebastien MERIC completed their higher education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Henley Business School in 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Technology & Innovation Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management, which they completed in 1991. Sebastien also attended Lycée Lavoisier Paris, where they pursued a Higher School Preparatory Class for Business Schools. Additionally, they obtained their A level qualification in Maths, Physics, French, German, Latin, and Humanities from Collège Stanislas Paris.
