Stefano Bigini

Stefano BIGINI has extensive work experience in the chemical industry, primarily with Solvay. Stefano currently holds the position of Senior Executive VP - Chief Operating Officer at GBU SA&D since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Executive Vice President - Industrial Director and Executive VP - Process Technology and Digital Manufacturing Director at Solvay Specialty Polymers from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they worked as the Site Director at Solvay Specialty Polymers Italy SpA from 2008 to 2018. Their early career at Solvay began in 1994 at Solvay Chimica Italia SpA, where they held positions as the Production Unit Manager Soda Ash and Utilities and Production and R&D Unit Manager Hydrogen Peroxide.

Stefano Bigini pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pisa from 1979 to 1985. In 2005, they attended the IMD and obtained a degree in General Management.
