Ben Carney

Ben Carney is the CEO and Founder of SOLVED Consulting, a position held since September 2014. SOLVED focuses on providing professional development experiences for educators, collaborating closely with school leaders to enhance instructional priorities and teacher capacity. Prior to this, Ben Carney served as a Senior Education Consultant from September 2011 to January 2018 and worked as an Instructional Designer and Math Editor at Scholastic, where responsibilities included creating training materials for blended learning environments. Ben Carney's teaching experience includes five years as a Mathematics Teacher for grades 9-12 at the NYC Department of Education. Ben Carney holds a Master of Public Policy and Nonprofit Management from New York University, a Master of Teaching in Mathematics Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Political Science from Ohio University.
