Michael Fernando

Michael Fernando is a System Architect specializing in distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure across mission-critical platforms in sectors such as MedTech, GovTech, and Aerospace. They currently serve as the Principal System Architect at UMag Solutions, where they design architectures that support edge AI inference while ensuring HIPAA and MDR compliance. Previously, Michael held roles as an IT Consultant, Lead Mobile Developer, and Team Lead in App Development, and they are also the owner of Fernando Recruiting. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is pursuing an Associate's degree at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.
