Jonathan Rueda

Jonathan Rueda has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Jonathan currently holds the position of Head of Product at Solvento, a fintech company focused on the logistics ecosystem. In this role, Jonathan is responsible for leading financial and SaaS product development, specifically in the areas of B2B SaaS product definition and implementation using agile development. Jonathan is also in charge of developing SaaS products based on AI technology for automating proof of delivery and invoice verification, as well as managing factoring and cash advance financial products.

Prior to their current role, Jonathan worked as a Product Director at One Park Financial, where they played a key role in expanding the company's cash advance product to the Mexican market. This involved various responsibilities such as product customization, credit bureau integration, SalesForce integration, contract definition, and sales training.

Jonathan also served as a Senior Product Manager at Clip, where they were responsible for defining the wallet ecosystem and coordinating RFPs for financial core and card processor and switch. Before that, they worked as a Subdirector Innovación at Banco Santander Mexico, leading cross-functional teams to design and deliver customer-centric products, such as RPA, chatbots, utility payments, and payment gateways.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at Giesecke & Devrient as a Solution Manager, where they specialized in mobile payments, security, NFC, and device management. Jonathan also gained experience as a Solution Architect at YellowPepper Mobile Financial Solutions, focusing on the design and customization of mobile money and wallet products.

Jonathan's expertise extends beyond the financial and technology sectors. Jonathan has also worked as a Researcher at ResQU AB, where they analyzed, designed, and implemented an efficient jammer for mobile networks. Additionally, they have held roles as a Team Leader at Getronics Mexico and a Senior Consultant at NA-AT Technologies.

Throughout their career, Jonathan has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, deliver innovative products, and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Jonathan Rueda began their education journey in 2001 at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where they pursued a degree in Telemática. Jonathan completed their studies in 2006.

In 2009, Jonathan enrolled at Lund University in Sweden, where they pursued a Master's degree in Mobile Communications. Jonathan successfully completed the program in 2011.

After a gap in their education, Jonathan returned to academia in 2017 and enrolled at Universidad Anáhuac. Jonathan pursued a Master's degree in Banca y Mercados Financieros and completed the program in 2019.

Alongside their formal education, Jonathan has also obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they completed the Digital Marketing Nanodegree program at Udacity. Jonathan also obtained the Automation Essentials certification from Automation Academy in July 2017.

Furthermore, Jonathan is an active member of the Association of Product Professionals and received their membership in June 2023.
