Christian Straub

Christian Straub currently serves as the Head of Business Analysis at Solveva since January 2021, following a tenure as Head of Business Analysis at Sidenis AG from May 2014 to January 2021. Prior experience includes positions at Swiss Re, where Christian held the role of Director and led an actuarial team with up to 30 members across three continents, as well as positions from Junior Actuary at Union Re prior to its merger into Swiss Re. Christian initiated a career in research as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich in earthquake studies, culminating in a PhD in Geodesy from ETH Zürich, earned between 1986 and 1997.
