Manuel Sousa

Manuel Sousa is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering practices. Currently at Solveva since August 2025, Manuel previously contributed to BforeAI, where development of Python-based microservices utilizing FastAPI and SQLAlchemy was a key focus. Notably, WebSocket-based communication was introduced for enhanced real-time client interactions. Prior experience includes roles at Tonic Easy Medical, where a transition to OpenAPI 3 standard for backend services was architected, and at Accenture, where RESTful web services were designed to integrate client CRM systems with Salesforce. Manuel holds an Integrated Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade do Minho, completed in 2020.
