Stan Byers

Stan Byers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, cybersecurity, and international development. Currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Transformation at VIA since November 2024, Byers previously held significant roles including Cybersecurity Team Lead at USAID and International Security Fellow at New America. With a noted background in advising on geopolitical and policy aspects of cybersecurity while at EY, Byers also played a pivotal role in the Power Africa Presidential Initiative and served as a senior advisor in the Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs at The White House. Byers holds an MPP in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and has undertaken further studies at Singularity University.
