Pablo O.

Pablo O. has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they were an Engineering Project Manager for Soluciones Marinas, where they were responsible for planning, design, execution and monitoring of docks and elevators projects for ships. In 2011, they were a Trainee at Vidriera Guatemalteca, S.A. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Guateprenda, S.A., first as a Business Intelligence/Project Manager, where they did data analysis, processes and business intelligence tools, and software development project management, and then as a Process and Continuous Improvement Specialist, where they did statistical analysis, documentation and improvement of operational, administrative and technological processes. During this time, they also worked at Pollo Campero as a Business Intelligence Projects. In 2020, they were a Business Intelligence at CMI-Alimentos. From 2017 to 2021, they were at Solvex Dominicana, SRL, first as a Chief Data Officer, then as a PMO & Data Analytics Team Lead, Project Manager, and Business Intelligence Consultant. Finally, since 2021 they have been a Catedrático universitario at Universidad Rafael Landívar and since 2022 a Catedrático asociado at ESI School of Management.

Pablo O. has an extensive educational background. Pablo began their studies in 1996, earning a Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras from Liceo Guatemala in 2007. Pablo then attended Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they earned a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering in 2012 and a Maestría en Gestión Industrial in 2016. In 2017, they obtained a Project Management with Agile Methodologies and Lean Approaches certification from Miríada X. Pablo also earned a Técnico en Desarrollo de Software from Universidad Galileo in 2017. In 2019, Pablo O. began a Master Business Analytics and Data Science from Universidad de Salamanca, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from Microsoft, Databricks, Coursera, CertiProf, and SCRUMstudy.
