Principal Scientist Characterization at Solvias

Eva Rödel has a diverse work experience in the field of science and analytics. Eva is currently working at Solvias as a Principal Scientist Characterization since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Solvias AG as a Team Lead/Specialized Analytics from 2019 to 2023.

Before joining Solvias, Eva worked at F. Hoffmann-La Roche as a Group Leader Particle and Formulation Characterization for API and Drug Product Analytics from 2015 to 2019.

Their earlier experience includes working at Solvias AG as a Project Leader for Biopharmaceuticals from 2013 to 2015, and as a Project Leader for Solid-State Development from 2008 to 2013.

Eva started their career as a Postdoc at ETH, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich from 2007 to 2008.

Eva Rödel completed their education in Chemistry, starting from 1998 to 2003, at Freie Universität Berlin, where they obtained a Diploma. Afterward, they pursued further studies, specializing in Heterogeneous catalysis, at the Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max Planck Society from 2003 to 2007 and earned a degree of Dr. rer. nat.
