Alwin Kok has work experience in three different companies. Alwin started working at Diaz IT in September 2018, where they primarily worked in the helpdesk role and also focused on self-study. During their time there, their Linux experience significantly grew. Alwin then joined Solvinity in February 2020 as a Platform Engineer, and their employment is ongoing. In 2014, they started working at Albert Heijn as a Leidinggevende groenten en fruit, a position they held until July 2022.
Alwin Kok's education history begins with their enrollment at ROC Midden Nederland, where they studied at Sport college, Niveau 3 from 2012 to 2017. Following this, Alwin attended ROC Midden Nederland again, this time completing a program in ICT- en mediabeheer from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Alwin is pursuing a degree in Cyber Security & Cloud at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) and is expected to graduate in 2024.
In addition to their formal education, Alwin has obtained several certifications. They are a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and also hold a certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, both from Microsoft, earned in June 2023. Alwin's other certifications include AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022, and AWS Partner: Foundations from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022. They also have certifications in Linux Essentials from Linux Professional Institute in February 2020 and IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts from Lynda.com in October 2018. Furthermore, Alwin has obtained various Microsoft Office certifications including MOS: Microsoft Office Excel 2016 Expert in June 2018, MOS: Microsoft Office Excel 2016 Core in March 2018, MOS: Microsoft Office Word 2016 Expert in January 2018, and MOS: Microsoft Office Word 2016 Core in November 2017. Finally, Alwin completed the UP Excellentieprogramma: Internet of Things 2 from ROC Midden Nederland in June 2019, as well as the UP Excellentieprogramma: Internet of Things from ROC Midden Nederland in June 2018.
