Pin Lu

Pin Lu has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. They started their career as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley in 2013, where they conducted various electrochemical and corrosion experiments to support an analytic and deterministic model for predicting corrosion damage. In 2016, they joined QuesTek Innovations LLC as a Materials Design Engineer and later took on the role of a Senior Materials Design Engineer from October 2019 to March 2023. They also worked as a Program Manager at QuesTek Innovations LLC from February 2022 to March 2023. Currently, Pin Lu is employed as the Principal Technical Program Manager at Solvus Global starting from March 2023.

Pin Lu started their education at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering / Metallurgy in 2009. Pin then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials Science/Powder Metallurgy at the University of Science and Technology Beijing from 2009 to 2011. Following that, Pin Lu attended Penn State University from 2011 to 2013 as a Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering/Corrosion. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016, specializing in Materials Science and Engineering / Corrosion.
