Ben Goldsmith

Ben Goldsmith is an Intermediate Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since October 2022, previously serving as a Junior Designer. Prior experience includes roles at Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD), where Ben led a team of 32 professionals on projects like designing a school and dormitory in Nepal and worked as Sustainable Education Director. Additional experience encompasses positions as a member of the AAP Ambassadors, as well as internships at SOM and MdeAS Architects, where Ben contributed to various architectural projects and researched WELL and FitWell standards. Ben’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, and previous research roles at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Penn State University focused on sustainable design and materials.
