Chao Li is an intermediate Urban and Landscape Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill since February 2022, with experience in diverse projects including iconic station design in Dubai and several urban design competitions across the Middle East and the United States. Prior to this role, Chao Li served as a Freelance Landscape Designer at Assemblage Landscape Architecture, contributing to public library and climate adaptive design projects. Chao Li has also worked as a Research Assistant at Zhejiang University, focusing on urban green space accessibility, and has experience in landscape architecture and consulting with Hanjia Design Group and Greentown Environmental Engineering Consulting Management Company. Chao Li holds a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Agriculture in Landscape Architecture from Zhejiang University.
