Chas Peppers serves as a Venture Architect and Research & Innovation Leader at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since December 2020, after a diverse career in architecture and design. As the Founder of Human: a Cultural Journal since July 2009, Chas combines professional practice with thought leadership. Previous roles include Architect at the Efficiency Lab for Architecture (January 2019 - November 2020), Principal at Woods Bagot (January 2011 - December 2018), Managing Director at Robert Siegel Architects (December 2009 - December 2010), and Director at Global Design Strategies (August 2009 - December 2010). Chas holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology.
