Chen Lu is a Senior Urban Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), where they apply their expertise in sustainable design and urban environments. Chen previously held internships at Design Earth, the University of Arkansas Community Design Center, and SmithGroupJJR, gaining valuable experience in urban and landscape architecture. They earned a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, focusing on the interplay between eco-systems and human behavior. Passionate about creating functional, attractive, and sustainable urban spaces, Chen is dedicated to addressing environmental and social issues through their work.
