David Vanderhoff

David Vanderhoff is a Senior Writer and Editor at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since August 2015, specializing in crafting content for the firm's global communications team within architecture, design, engineering, and urban planning. Prior to SOM, Vanderhoff served as the Special Projects Manager at Allied Works Architecture, where responsibilities included planning a museum exhibition and successfully writing a grant proposal that garnered a grant from the Graham Foundation. Experience also includes managing Van Alen Books, New York City’s only architecture and design bookstore, as well as roles at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, and DGT. DORELL.GHOTMEH.TANE / ARCHITECTS. Vanderhoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southern California and pursued further studies at Columbia University.
