Justin Chen

Justin Chen currently serves as Associate Principal at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since August 2023, after previously holding the position of Design Principal at EID Architecture in Hong Kong from 2020 to June 2023. Justin's career at SOM spans over a decade, including roles as Associate Director, Architectural Associate, and Architect from June 2010 to November 2019. Additionally, Justin contributed as a Visual Studies Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2010 to December 2012. Earlier experience includes internships at SO – IL and SOM, along with a Designer role at MBH Architects. Academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and dual Bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
