Manuel Jara

Manuel Jara, EIT, currently serves as a Structural Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill since November 2023. Previously, Manuel held the position of Structural Engineer II at SK&A Structural Engineers from April 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included designing concrete slabs and reviewing project submittals. Earlier experience includes roles as a Structures Analyst at Kimley-Horn and as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Walter P Moore, focusing on structural assessments, design, and analysis of various projects. Manuel’s educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Evansville. Additional experience encompasses internships and roles in engineering education and operations.
