Matthew Boyd, MS, CISSP, serves as the Chief Information Officer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since May 2025. Previously, Matthew held the position of Senior Director of Information Technology and Security at Sila Nanotechnologies, where notable achievements included expanding the IT and InfoSec team significantly and implementing cloud infrastructure that resulted in substantial cost savings. With a diverse background in enterprise IT spanning major firms such as Facebook, where Matthew managed a large PMO, and Mosaic, where successful security certifications were achieved, Matthew's expertise encompasses IT strategy, operations management, and cybersecurity compliance.
