Michael Cascio

Michael Cascio, PE, is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Associate at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), where responsibility includes managing the Research + Innovation Program and exhibitions since October 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Dopecheddar from August 2012 to October 2019, including Founder and Senior Professional Project Manager, where significant contributions were made in developing a Python-based data infrastructure for electronic music content distribution. Michael also gained valuable experience as a Structural Engineer and in multiple engineering roles at SOM from June 2011 to December 2018, and as a Field Engineer Intern at Turner Construction Company in June 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
