Mina Hasman currently serves as the Sustainability Director at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since June 2012 and holds significant positions within the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), including RIBA Council Member, Climate Task and Finish Group Co-Chair, and Sustainable Development Lead for the Commission on Ethics and Sustainable Development. Additionally, Mina is the CAA Regional Vice President of Europe and serves in various roles such as Chair of the CAA Practice Committee, Climate Change Committee Chair at the Construction Industry Council, and Stakeholder Engagement Lead for the UK NZC Buildings Standard. Through academic contributions as Honorary Visiting Professor of Climate Change at the Manchester School of Architecture and other instructional roles, Mina is dedicated to advancing sustainability in architectural practice and education. Educational qualifications include an MArch in Sustainable and Environmental Design from the Architectural Association and a BArch from Cornell University, along with several certifications related to climate change and future cities.
