Paul Bamson

Paul Bamson, Assoc. AIA, AIAS, NOMA, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Bachelor of Architecture program at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a position held since August 2023. Bamson has extensive experience in urban design and landscape architecture, currently working as an Intermediate Urban Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP since September 2018. Previous roles include Landscape Architecture Intern at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects and Perkins+Will, as well as an Urban Design Intern at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. Bamson also engaged in architectural internships at McCarty Holsaple McCarty and Hnedak Bobo Group, Inc., contributing to various design and documentation projects. Early career experiences include a role at the Nashville Civic Design Center and managerial positions at Vector Marketing, which helped develop strong leadership and sales skills. Bamson holds a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
