Somali Bantu Rising is a national nonprofit movement based in Washington State, dedicated to uplifting the Somali Bantu people across the United States. We work to restore dignity, preserve culture, and advance justice for our historically marginalized community through youth empowerment, family services, cultural preservation, and civic advocacy.

We are committed to nurturing a supportive community that celebrates cultural diversity and encourages safety, lifelong learning, mentorship, and collaboration. Through our programs and events, we aim to provide the tools and opportunities necessary for every member to thrive and contribute positively to society.

Lastly, Our mission is to ensure Somali Bantus are seen, heard, and supported — from Seattle to every city where our people reside.
