At Somatic Psychotherapy Center, we believe that real healing happens not just in the mind, but in the body. Located in New York, our boutique practice supports clients who are ready to go deeper: beyond insight and into embodied change.

If you’re someone who has already done the work—read the books, sat in the chair—but still feel stuck, we help you gently tune into the parts of yourself that talk therapy alone can’t always reach.

Our team brings warmth, presence, and a deep trust in your body’s capacity to heal. We specialize in trauma-informed, somatic-based approaches including Hakomi, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and more.

We work with:
- Smart, successful, and self-aware individuals who still feel blocked or anxious
- trauma survivors (childhood or adulthood) seeking more than traditional talk therapy
- people sensing a body-based layer to their emotional pain, navigating grief, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or people who are simply ready for a more embodied kind of therapy.

If you’re ready to reconnect with your body’s wisdom and move at the pace of trust, we’d be honored to walk alongside you.
