Simon Napper

Simon Napper is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Compliance and Service Manager at Somerset Bridge Group since September 2020. In this role, Simon oversees all IT compliance areas and manages the IT Service Desk function. Prior to this, Simon was an IT Compliance Specialist focused on compliance, information security, and auditing. From May 2003 to June 2020, Simon held the position of Head of Information Technology at Sport Wales, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure and services for over 250 users, overseeing an annual IT budget exceeding £800K, and leading various strategic initiatives in IT management. Earlier experience includes roles as UK Systems Manager and European Network Manager at MicroWarehouse, where Simon managed significant IT systems and networks across multiple locations. Educational background includes a BTEC Diploma in Civil Engineering from Pembrokeshire College and completion of secondary education at Milford Haven Grammar School.
