Scott MacGregor

Scott MacGregor is an accomplished entrepreneur and industry expert with extensive experience in talent acquisition, publishing, and business leadership. Currently serving as Publisher and Editor-In-Chief at Outlier Magazine since March 2024, Scott also founded SomethingNew LLC, a multi-award-winning company recognized for innovative recruiting services, and The Outlier Project, which fosters a community of individuals pursuing extraordinary lives. As a founding member of Soft Land Partners, Scott aids international companies in scaling within new markets. In addition, Scott acts as a talent acquisition mentor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and has held expert consultant roles with GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group). With a strong background in sales and marketing, exemplified by prior roles at Flo-Tech and Pitney Bowes, Scott's education includes credentials from prestigious institutions such as the University of Michigan and The Wharton School.
