Matthias Wander

Matthias Wander has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Matthias is currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at Somic Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co.KG, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Research and Development for a year from July 2021 to June 2022 at the same company. Matthias also worked as a Senior Manager in Electrical Engineering at Somic Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co.KG from April 2014 to June 2021. Before joining Somic Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co.KG, Matthias worked as a Senior System Engineer at Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH from September 2012 to March 2014. Matthias also held the position of Team Leader Frameworks at Schneider Electric from October 2009 to September 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Development Engineer at ELAU AG from October 2006 to September 2009.

Matthias Wander attended the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) from 2002 to 2006. Matthias earned a degree in Ingenieurinformatik and graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur qualification.
