John Colantoni

John Colantoni has an extensive background in risk management and internal auditing, highlighted by the role of Chief Risk Officer at Primis Bank from May 2020 to December 2022. Prior to that, John served as the Director of Internal Audit at Sonabank from June 2013 to April 2020. Additionally, John was the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee at The Partnership Federal Credit Union from March 1999 to June 2013, and held significant roles at the FDIC, including Senior Audit Specialist and Audit Manager from January 1989 to June 2013. John Colantoni holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Suffolk University and completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Further education includes attendance at the New England School of Banking.
