Andre Sousa

Andre Sousa has extensive experience in finance roles. Andre started their career as a Credit Analyst at Banco Comercial Português (CISF banco de Investimento) in 1992 and worked there until 1995. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Financial Analyst at SONAE. In 1998, they joined Optimus as a Finance Director and stayed until 1999. Andre then moved to Sonae SGPS, where they held the position of Senior Financial Analyst from 1999 to 2005, and later became the Finance Director.

Andre Sousa attended Universidade Católica Portuguesa from 1987 to 1992, but the degree and field of study are not specified. In 2017, they completed a short course in Advanced International Corporate Finance at INSEAD. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Sustainable Finance from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. In 2022, they completed an Executive Course in Sustainable Finance at ISEG - Executive Education.
